Valerie is an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). She is a former President and Chair of the FPA of New York and currently volunteers her time on their pro-bono committee as well as the President’s Counsel.
Valerie was a member of the faculty at both New York University and Pace University in the area of income tax planning. She serves as a frequent lecturer on financial planning topics and has presented to groups at AARP, the Red Cross and the New York Public Library. Valerie also serves as Chairperson for Girls Incorporated of Westchester County, a nonprofit organization, where she participates in financial literacy programs for mothers and daughters.
